Look Daddy! I'm a sportswriter!

She: [Stoudemire] doesn't have Nash to pad his stats. RT @ivanctorres: @Susan_Shan@ftblsickness I'm going to be glad to see you wrong on that one.
Me: Ha. You mean like 2002-03 when AS=ROY? Or 2003-04? When AS put up 21/9? Both WITHOUT Nash? #nba #knicks
She: Marbury was good then. RT @taheati: @Susan_Shan Ha. You mean like 2002-03 when AS=ROY? Or 2003-04? When AS put up 21/9? Both WITHOUT Nash?
Me: Sure. But the prevailing media "myth" is Nash=Frankenstein, Stat=Igor. Myth is fun. Myth isn't fact. Or bankable. #nba #knicks
She: Interesting analogy. We'll see how Amare does without pg.

Who said anything about playing without a point guard or the next worst thing?

Would Duncan be Duncan with Smush instead of Tony Parker?

Stoudemire will survive even if he has to "settle" for points like TJ Ford or Luke Ridnour.

Stoudemire would, however -- as would KD, KG, TD and/or any other pair of HOF initials you can think of --  struggle if his 1 is "Toney Douglas."
